WITH LOVE FROM OUR BAKER
Breakfast pastries are exclusively made in the hotel. From morning to morning our baker carefully selects the variety of the pastries. All selection includes his famous white ’tiger’ bread, brown bread, french baguette, mini white, brown and granary buns, old fashion style white milky crescent, croissants or his other sweet temptations, like a chocolate, vanilla or curd cheese bun, cocoa-filled or cinnamon flavoured spiral bun. It is hard to resist them!
In our breakfast guests can find the elements of a continental breakfast too but with a little bit of modification towards our Hungarian taste. Beside the salamis and cold cuts, we also offer home made smoked turkey breast or pork ham, smoked and boiled pork. Next to the various types of cheese in our cheese counter, we also offer home made cheese spreads, spiced curd cheese, our own feta cheese with basil. A selection of apricot, forest fruits, red currant but sometimes you can come across with specialties e.g. a strawberry & rhubarb jam. It is definitely worth to try our home made jams!

Guests with a healthy lifestyle can enjoy our tasty breakfast as well. Fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious seeds, local produce dairy products e.g. kephir, home made natural and fruit yoghurts along with toothsome cornflakes or mueslis. Give it a try you won’t regret it!

Some likes hot and hearty, let’s admit we, Hungarians like that way! Being a Hungarian hotel our breakfast selection of course includes fried sausages, boiled frankfurters, picant ’lecsó’, furthermore fried bacon, fried eggs, omlette or hard-boiled eggs. For last but not least, a little nostalgy… semolina pudding!
Breakfast is accompanied with locally produced SIÓ fruit juices (e.g apple, orange or peach), cold and warm milk, Dallmayr green, black or herb teas, Dallmayr coffees e.g. espresso, espresso macchiato, latte macchiato, long coffee, cappuccino or hot chocolate.
AS EVERYONE COUNTS
Our kitchen staff makes all the effort to form the food selection according to the current gastronomic trends combined with modern kitchen technology. Milk and egg permitted vegetarian and gluten-free meals are also available in the hotel. In case of lactose-sensitivity please notify us in advance so our chef is able to prepare the special dishes. Other special meals (e.g. paleolit, kosher, halal) or diets can also be prepared by our kitchen but we kindly ask our guests to inform us prior to arrival.
