1. General Services
These House Rules contain the regulations governing the use of all services offered by the Black & Orange department. The services of the Black & Orange department are the following:
- SPA services – use of pools, sauna area, relaxation areas, and the related sanitary facilities (changing rooms and pool areas)
- Treatments – massage, cosmetics, manicure, pedicure, spa services
- Fitness services – use of the gym and the fitness machines and the equipment that are located within, participation in group aerobic classes, rental of the squash court, and use of the related sanitary facilities (changing rooms and restrooms)
- Hospitality services – on-site consumption of food and beverages
Wellamarin Kft., the operator of the Black & Orange department, reserves the right to suspend the above services fully or partly, either for a short or for a long period. It is an essential duty of the management and employees of the Black & Orange department to ensure that the services listed above can be used at a high standard, professionally and safely, from the viewpoint of health, occupational safety, and fire protection. For this purpose, any potential sources of danger must be eliminated by the department’s staff without delay, or the affected areas must be closed off from Service Users. All regulations and instructions for avoiding dangerous situations must be followed by both the users of the services and the department’s employees. Service Users are entitled to make comments or complaints, verbally or in written form, regarding the manner and standard of the service or the behaviour of the employee providing the service. The Black & Orange department sells several types of tickets, from which Service Users may choose. By selecting a ticket type, they accept the rules related to its use and are thereafter required to comply with them. In the event of misuse of discounts (local, time-limited) or passes, Wellamarin Kft. may ban the offenders from the Black & Orange department it operates. Such offenders are required to compensate for any damages resulting from the misuse.
2. SPA Services
Employees working in the department are required to:
- ensure the appropriate water quality of the pools;
- clean, disinfect, and maintain the pools, the sauna facilities, the relaxation areas, and the related sanitary facilities (changing rooms and pool areas) together with the housekeeping department of Hotel Wellamarin****;
- measure the water temperature of each pool every 2 hours, document it, display it on the designated board, and inform the users of the services accordingly;
- maintain the water temperature of each pool within the specified temperatures;
- hold advertised programs on time and with professional care, and provide the materials, equipment, and room required for the programs.
By purchasing a ticket, pass, or gift voucher, or by checking in to the Hotel, the service user acknowledges and accepts the provisions set in these House Rules. The House Rules apply to everyone who enters or stays in the Black & Orange department and its associated units. In order to enforce compliance with the House Rules, Wellamarin Kft., the operator of the Black & Orange department, is entitled to take the necessary measures.
As in all public areas of the Hotel, an electronic surveillance system operates in the Black & Orange department as well. By purchasing a ticket, pass, or gift voucher, or by checking in to the Hotel, the service user acknowledges the existence of this system. The electronic surveillance system records image-only (no audio) footage for the protection of persons and property, which may, if necessary, document violations of the House Rules. SPA services may be used upon payment of the admission fees listed in the price list, with a valid pass or gift voucher, or by checking in to the Hotel. Passes are valid for 2 months from the date of purchase.
Paid programs organized by the Black & Orange department may only be used with a ticket, pass, or gift voucher valid for the given day and time, or by Service Users staying at the Hotel on that day. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, in certain cases by prior appointment. If the Service User arrives late for a reserved time or does not arrive at all, the Black & Orange department is not required to provide the service. The department is entitled to invoice the service fee in accordance with the cancellation terms applicable to the service.
The services include the service fee; therefore, employees working in the department may not request any additional payment.
In locker-room changing areas equipped with changing cabins, the Service Users are required to use the changing cabin for changing clothes (undressing and dressing). Cabins and lockers in the changing room are available to Service Users on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the unisex areas of the Black & Orange department (pools, pool area, sauna area and their lobbies, terraces, SPA reception and bar, changing rooms, and connecting corridors), it is forbidden to remain without clothing or without covering intimate body parts.
The Service User:
- uses the services at their own risk;
- may enter the Black & Orange department only with adult supervision if under the age of 14;
- must not have a fever or an infectious disease, nor open wounds or skin diseases;
- must not be under the influence of drugs, intoxicating medication, or alcohol;
- may not smoke in the department;
- may use the services only for their intended purpose;
- in the event of a fire alarm, bomb threat, storm, or other extraordinary event, must follow the instructions of the employees of the Black & Orange department and the Hotel.
In all cases, it is mandatory to:
- take a shower with soap and water before entering the pool;
- approach the pool through the footbath;
- use swim diapers for small children in the pool.
It is strictly FORBIDDEN in the pool to:
- jump or make loud noises;
- play ball, throw frisbees, or bring in and use any other accident-prone objects;
- use large floating devices such as giant inflatables, air mattresses, or surfboards;
- eat food or consume beverages;
- pollute the water in any way.
Any person who, due to being intoxicated, pollutes the pool water or the Black & Orange area (vomit, feces, urine) is required to pay compensation, including the water replacement fee, in the event that advanced disinfection cleaning and pool water replacement are required.
The sauna area facilities must:
- be equipped at the entrance, in a clearly visible place, with an instruction manual, which the Service Users must follow;
- be used only by healthy individuals;
- display temperature information;
- be equipped with an emergency bell; upon ringing the bell, an employee must immediately go to the given facility. Employees of the Black & Orange department are required to carry out inspections several times a day to ensure order, cleanliness, and Service User safety.
It is strictly FORBIDDEN in the pool area, sauna, and relaxation areas to:
- move around without slippers or in street shoes;
- bring in items used in public spaces, such as baby strollers, scooters, or skateboards;
- make noise or disturb the relaxation of others;
- bring in fragile objects (glass);
- use large floating devices such as giant inflatables, air mattresses, or surfboards;
- during “Quiet SPA” periods, talk loudly, shout, make noise, jump, or splash others;
- during “Quiet SPA 14+” periods, talk loudly, shout, make noise, jump, or splash others, or allow children under 14 years of age to enter the SPA area;
- use the sauna in case of cardiovascular disease if sauna use contradicts it;
- sit or lie on sauna benches without a sauna sheet;
- use the sauna without covering intimate body parts;
- occupy an unreasonably large amount of space in the sauna to the disadvantage of others;
- place ice on the sauna heater or pour personal essential oils onto it;
- bring in objects capable of causing injury (e.g. balls, frisbees), or wear items during sauna use that may cause burns;
- enter changing rooms or showers designated for the opposite sex;
- use hairdryers brought in by the Service Users;
- bring animals into the area;
- behave in a manner that violates public morals;
- make obscene remarks or use offensive language;
- physically assault others;
- make statements or remarks against race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation;
- make references to engaging in sexual relations;
- engage in contact of a sexual nature;
- cause scandal;
- create panic.
Each of the above cases results in an immediate ban, which may also be applied permanently to the offending Service User.
3. Treatments
Employees working in the department are required to:
- clean, disinfect, and maintain the treatment rooms, the associated relaxation areas, and the pool areas;
- perform treatments according to the related standards and with professional care, both in terms of using the appropriate quantities of materials and the techniques applied during the treatment.
By booking a treatment, paying for it, signing a room-charge slip, or using the treatment, the Service User acknowledges and complies with the provisions set in the House Rules. In order to make compliance easier with the House Rules, Wellamarin Kft., the operator of the Black & Orange department, is entitled to take the necessary measures.
As in all public areas of the Hotel, an electronic surveillance system operates in the Black & Orange department as well. By booking a treatment, paying for it, redeeming a gift voucher, signing a room-charge slip, or using the treatment, the Service User acknowledges the existence of this system. The electronic surveillance system records image-only (no audio) footage for the protection of people and property, which may, if necessary, document violations of the House Rules. Treatments may be used upon payment of the prices listed in the SPA menu or by redeeming a gift voucher.
Treatments are provided on a first-come, first-served basis with prior appointment. If the Service User arrives late for the reserved appointment or does not arrive at all, the Black & Orange department is not required to provide the service. The department is entitled to invoice the service fee according to the cancellation terms related to the treatments.
The price of treatments includes the fee for performing the treatment; therefore, employees working in the department may not request any additional payment.
The person using the treatment:
- may use the services only at their own risk.
- The treatment MUST NOT be used if the Service User:
- has a fever or an infectious disease;
- is pregnant;
- is under the influence of alcohol;
- has varicose veins;
- has a fungal skin infection;
- has undergone surgery within the past 6 weeks;
- has been diagnosed with a tumor within the past 5 years.
When using treatments, it is recommended to:
- arrive 5 minutes before the reserved time with a dry body and properly dressed, in order to avoid catching a cold;
- avoid eating within 30 minutes prior to the treatment.
During treatments, it is strictly FORBIDDEN to:
- behave in a manner that violates public morals;
- make obscene remarks or use offensive language;
- physically assault others;
- incite hostility based on race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation;
- make references to engaging in sexual relations;
- engage in contact of a sexual nature.
Each of the above cases results in an immediate ban, which may also be applied permanently to the offending Service User.
4. Fitness Services
Employees working in the department are required to:
- clean, disinfect, and maintain the gym, the Cirkáló room, the squash court, and the related sanitary facilities (changing rooms and pool areas) together with the Hotel’s Housekeeping department;
- hold advertised programs on time and with professional care, and provide the materials, equipment, and room required for the programs.
By purchasing a ticket, pass, or gift voucher, or by checking in to the Hotel, the service user acknowledges and accepts the provisions set in these House Rules. The House Rules apply to everyone who enters or stays in the Black & Orange department and its associated units. In order to make compliance easier with the House Rules, Wellamarin Kft., the operator of the Black & Orange department, is entitled to take the necessary measures.
As in all public areas of the Hotel, an electronic surveillance system operates in the Black & Orange department as well. By purchasing an admission ticket, pass, or gift voucher, or by checking in to the Hotel, the service user acknowledges the existence of this system. Fitness services may be used upon payment of the admission fees listed in the price list, with a valid pass or by redeeming a gift voucher, or by checking in to the Hotel. Passes are valid from the date of purchase for 1, 1.5, or 2 months, depending on the type of the pass.
Paid programs organized by the Black & Orange department may only be used by owners of tickets, passes, or gift vouchers valid for the given day and time, or by Service Users staying at the Hotel. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis with prior appointment. If the Service User arrives late for the reserved time or does not arrive at all, the Black & Orange department is not required to provide the service. The department is entitled to invoice the service fee according to the cancellation terms related to the service.
The services include the service charge; therefore, employees working in the department may not request any additional payment.
In locker-room changing areas equipped with changing cabins, the Service Users are required to use the changing cabin for changing clothes (undressing and dressing). Cabins and lockers in the changing room are available to Service Users on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the unisex areas of the Black & Orange department (pool, pool area, sauna area and their lobbies, terraces, SPA reception and bar, changing rooms, and connecting corridors), staying without clothing is prohibited.
The Service User:
- may use the services only at their own risk;
- may enter the Black & Orange department only with adult supervision if under the age of 14;
- must not have a fever or an infectious disease;
- must not be under the influence of drugs, intoxicating medication, or alcohol;
- may not smoke in the department;
- is entitled to use the services only for their intended purpose;
- in the event of a fire alarm, bomb threat, storm, or other extraordinary event, must follow the instructions of the employees of the Black & Orange department and the Hotel.
In all cases, it is mandatory to:
- wear sports clothing and clean sports shoes;
- disinfect sports equipment after use with the spray disinfectant and paper towels provided in the gym for this purpose;
- return sports equipment to its designated place after use.
It is strictly FORBIDDEN to:
- use sports equipment barefoot, in socks, or in slippers;
- disturb others or make loud noises;
- eat food or consume alcoholic beverages;
- enter changing rooms or showers designated for the opposite sex;
- bring animals into the area;
- behave in a manner that violates public morals;
- make obscene remarks or use offensive language;
- physically assault others;
- incite hostility based on race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation;
- make references to engaging in sexual relations;
- engage in contact of a sexual nature;
- cause scandal;
- create panic.
Each of the above cases results in an immediate ban, which may also be applied permanently to the offending Service User.
5. Operating Regulations
The opening hours of the Black & Orange department must be displayed in a clearly visible manner. Opening hours are determined by Wellamarin Kft. and published through its communication channels, such as the website and Facebook group. Wellamarin Kft. takes no responsibility for compensation in the event of changes to the opening hours.
Pools and saunas must be vacated by Service Users at closing time.
The opening hours of the outdoor units of the Black & Orange department may be changed by the Head of the Black & Orange department or by the Hotel’s duty manager, taking weather conditions into account. Any such changes must be communicated to the hotel departments by e-mail, and Hotel staff are required to inform hotel Service Users accordingly.
The management of Wellamarin Kft. may modify operating hours in justified cases (e.g. technical failure, water shortage, etc.). Such changes must be posted at the entrance of the department. Service Users are not entitled to any compensation as a result of such changes.
The services of the Black & Orange department may be used only with a valid admission ticket or pass, or by checking in to the Hotel. Prices must be displayed in a clearly visible manner at the entrance. The outdoor area may be used exclusively by current hotel Service Users.
Discounts may be used only upon presentation of valid proof. In the absence of such proof, only full-price tickets or passes may be purchased. Tickets purchased for the Black & Orange department are valid for the time period specified in the price list; in the event of exceeding this time limit (as recorded by the proxy wristband and/or card), an additional surcharge will be applied.
For hotel Service Users, use of the SPA area and the gym is available free of charge and without time limitation during opening hours. The 50% discounted ticket purchased for group aerobic classes is valid only for the specific class.
Entry to the department is via an access control system using a proxy wristband and card. Entry and exit through the access control system are permitted exclusively with the use of the proxy wristband or card. Sliding doors and gates must be used properly. It is strictly forbidden to disable the sliding doors or to jump over or climb through the gates (except in the case of access by persons with reduced mobility).
Lockers in the changing rooms can be opened and closed with the proxy wristband or card. Wellamarin Kft., as the operator, takes no responsibility for valuables left in the lockers.
Hotel Service Users are provided with complimentary towel and sauna sheet rental. For non-resident Service Users using SPA services, each SPA ticket includes the rental of 1 towel and 1 sauna sheet. All rentals are recorded on the proxy device. Upon leaving, a compensation fee of HUF 5,000 per missing towel or sauna sheet will be charged. At departure, the textiles recorded on the proxy device must be reduced by the quantity returned.
In the hospitality units located within the SPA area, consumption can be charged to the proxy device. The head of the department is entitled to check the Service User’s proxy device and the recorded consumption at any time. Consumption recorded on the proxy device must be settled upon leaving.
A compensation fee of HUF 4,000 per piece will be charged for lost proxy wristbands.
Any request for an invoice must be indicated in advance.
Currency exchange is not available at the SPA reception.
6. Other Provisions
The customers’ complaints book for the Black & Orange department is located at the SPA reception and must be made available to Service Users upon request. The Head of the Black & Orange department and/or the Hotel’s duty manager are required to investigate any complaint, remark, or suggestion according to the related regulations and to take action based on the findings.
First Aid
- In the event of an injury or sudden illness affecting a Service User, a staff member trained in first aid is available to provide assistance and care to the Service User. If the type or severity of the injury so requires, an ambulance must be called.
- The Black & Orange department must maintain a first aid kit containing the prescribed quantity and types of bandages and other equipment and materials required for first aid, in accordance with regulations.
- A written incident report must be prepared, using the designated form, for any injury, accident, or damage involving a Service User.
Valuables
- Wellamarin Kft. takes no responsibility for items left unattended within the Black & Orange department or for valuables handed in at the reception.
- Lost property must be handed in at the SPA reception.
